"Stones" made of clay with hollows, water stones for Testudo kleinmanni or young tortoises of other species

In our Kleinmanni book I presented, among other things, pottery "water stones" with hollows and bowls, which my Egyptian tortoises like to drink and which I partly made myself and partly had made in a nearby pottery workshop. Many Testudo kleinmanni will not accept normal water bowls, and deaths from drowning have even been reported. With the "water stones" and bowls described, however, there is no danger that they could possibly drown, as in a larger, deeper water bowl.

Also very suitable for young animals of other tortoise species for which standard water bowls are too high and too large.

You can now also order these water points here. They are all handmade and have been high fired at 1225ºC.
For the production in the pottery you have to calculate about 4 weeks time. Therefore, if there are no goods in stock, the delivery time is approx. 5 weeks.

Dimensions: approx. 15 x 17 cm, height approx. 2 - 2.5 cm.

Since it is handmade, all parts are always slightly different in colour, size and shape, so the photos are example photos. The glaze is lead-free and non-toxic.
A "water stone" costs €16 plus postage based on weight. The offer is valid for 1 water stone.
